HARROW Police have released images of two men on a H12 bus on Thursday February 2 after £80,000 worth of damage was caused by fire.
The bus was travelling along Eastcote Road, Pinner, when a fire broke out on the top deck.
Metroline, the company which runs the service, and Harrow Police suspect it was an arson attack and the police would like to speak to the two men in connection with the incident.
More than 20 people were on the bus when the fire started at 12.30pm and all of them were evacuated safely.
The driver, Martin Kelly, helped the passengers to safety and was later treated for smoke inhalation at Northwick Park hospital, but was discharged the same day.
Police are seeking help in identify two men who were travelling on the bus at the time.
One man was wearing a red top, has short black hair and a slim build. The other man was wearing a black top and had a grey hood pulled over his head.
Detective Constable Richard Cafferty from Harrow CID said: " We believe that these two men are from the Harrow or Hillingdon area and would like to speak to them in connection with this suspected arson."
