TWO CANNABIS factories with a total of 260 plants were raided within days of each other.

Police discovered 200 plants last Thursday (June 27) at a home in Bath Road, Hounslow, after receiving a tip-off from neighbours.

Two days earlier, officers had found 60 plants inside a home in nearby Martindale Road, along with leaves which had already been harvested and were drying in another room.

The estimated street value of the combined haul is at least £100,000, based on previous police figures.

Both addresses were empty at the time of the raids and nobody has been arrested in connection with the seizures.

PC Tom Blair, of Hounslow Heath Safer Neighbourhoods Team (SNT), said the raids were carried out after neighbours reported a strange smell coming from the buildings and noisy fans disrupting their sleep.

"I am very pleased with this result. We have managed to disrupt the drugs network that was destined for the streets of Hounslow," he added.

"At this stage no arrests have been made. However, police would like to hear from anyone who has any information that may help with our enquiries."
