Three Hounslow police officers accused of assault are due to stand trial in January next year.
Sergeant Jason Moody, 39, PC Carl Hollman, 31, and PC Ed Griffith, 39, appeared at Southwark Crown Court yesterday (November 7) charged with assault occasioning actual bodily harm (ABH).
All three denied the charge and were bailed to return on January 19 next year for trial.
The charges relate to an alleged assault in Hounslow on November 23 last year. The officers have been placed on restricted duties pending the outcome of the criminal proceedings.
A fourth officer, a PC - who was not charged with criminal activities - was being investigated by the Metropolitan Police in connection with possible misconduct.
