A MAN who died after falling from a bridge at Heathrow Airport has been named.

Michael Joseph, 21, of Butts Farm Estate, Feltham, Hounslow, worked as a barman at a pub close to the scene of his fall at East Ramp, off the A4 Bath Road.

On Saturday night he was seen walking along the railings of the bridge above the tunnels which lead to the Terminal buildings and later fell 50ft where he was hit by a taxi which finished up on top of him.

Firefighters used air bags to lift the cab and get him to Charing Cross hospital where he remained in a critical condition with massive head injuries until doctors turned off his life support system on Wednesday.

His body is currently at Fulham Mortuary and a post mortem is due to take place in the next few days and an inquest opened after that.

Police are keeping an open mind about the incident and wish to speak to anyone who saw what happened or has further information.
