POLICE are investigating an attempted rape in Hounslow.

POLICE are investigating an attempted rape in Hounslow.

A woman in her late 20s was walking along Bulstrode Road, near the junction with Clipstone Road, at about 4.15am on Saturday (March 10) when she was attacked.

She escaped without serious injuries after the attackm which took place about 100 metres from Hounslow Central tube station.

A police spokeswoman said officers from the Met's Sapphire Unit were investigating an allegation of rape.

She added that no description of the suspect was available at this stage.
