POLICE are hunting this man after a woman was sexually assaulted on a bus.

The 39-year-old victim was on the 207 at about 7.30am when the attacker boarded, sat next to her and assaulted her.

She managed to move away from him and went to the driver of the bus before getting off and reporting the crime at Acton Police Station in Acton High Street.

The suspect left the bus shortly after in Uxbridge Road, opposite Acton Park.

He is black, described as having a Somalian appearance, 6ft, slim and mid 30s to early 40s. He has short black hair and beard and wore a long brown corduroy jacket.

It took place on April 7 but police have only now released the CCTV images in a bid to identify the attacker.

Detective constable Lorraine Davies, said: "We are very keen to speak to the man in the CCTV as we know he was on the bus at the time of the assault and ask for anyone who knows who or where he is to contact us."
