POLICE are hunting arsonists who set two cars ablaze in Strand-on-the-Green this week.

POLICE are hunting arsonists who set two cars ablaze in Strand-on-the-Green this week.

A Peugeot 206 and a Toyota 4x4 were found burnt out on Wednesday morning (December 12) opposite Cafe Rouge.

The culprits had completely destroyed the Peugeot but had only set fire to the inside of the Toyota after smashing its windows.

A local resident came across the vehicles. He said: "It's very worrying when this happens on your doorstep especially as I've heard this isn't the first time. This only happened two streets down from me, I certainly won't leave anything in my car overnight."

Hounslow's Criminal Investigation Department are investigating the incident and have urged anybody with any information to call them on 02082476170.
