A TEAM of officers discovered a cannabis factory in an industrial warehouse.

Officers from Tokyngton Safer Neighbourhoods Team discovered the plants in North End Road, Wembley.

A member of the property services team at the building called the police after finding about 400 to 500 cannabis plants in various stages of growth.

No suspects were on scene and no arrests have been made, but Brent Police are appealing for information.

The building is used as a warehouse, which has offices on two of the floors. The third floor was empty.

Sergeant Peter Goodchild, from Tokyngton Safer Neighbourhoods Team, said: “I am very pleased with this result.

“We have managed to disrupt the drugs network that was destined for the streets of Brent.

“At this stage no arrests have been made, however police would like to hear from anyone who has any information that may help with our enquiries.
