A BODY pulled from the Thames last Tuesday is missing man Marc Hutton.

Mr Hutton, 28, who worked in accounting hadn't been seen since February 28 and was believed to have been walking on crutches from a football injury at the time of his disappearance.

Police confirmed last Friday that a body found in the River Thames near Lots Road was that of the accountant.

The tragic finding follows an extensive 'missing poster' campaign and search by his family, friends and police which extended right across West London.

Marc is an ex-pupil of Drayton Manor High School in Hanwell, Ealing. He was last seen by friends at his home in Sefton Road, Putney, at 11:30pm on Friday February 28.

A Police spokesperson said: "On Tuesday, March 18 at approximately 10.10hrs, police investigating the disappearance of a man from Putney were called to the River Thames near Lots Road, following the recovery of a deceased male from the water.

"Enquiries have formally identified the man to be Marc Hutton, 28, who had been reported missing since Friday, 28 February. An inquest will be opened and adjourned in due course at a venue to be confirmed.

"Police are treating the death as unexplained. Next of kin are aware."
