Police are asking for help from a taxi driver after a pedestrian suffered head injuries when he was knocked down by a vehicle in Fulham.
Officers were called to reports of a 39-year-old man hit by a vehicle just before 3.10am on Saturday (October 4) in North End Road .
London Ambulance Service paramedics took the man to a central London hospital with head injuries, where he remains in a stable condition.
Police are now looking for a taxi driver who had spoken to the man about a possible fare just before the incident. They said the driver may not have known the collision happened as he pulled away.
Detective Constable Nicola Linton, said: “We are very keen to hear from the taxi driver who stopped to speak to a 39-year-old white man on North End Road, just south of Halford Road, on Saturday, October 4 at about 03:00hrs.”
The driver, or anyone with any information about the collision, is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 0208 543 5157 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
