POLICE are now appealing to the woman who came to the aid of a stabbed 15-year-old boy in Isleworth yesterday.

The victim who was stabbed at the entrance to Redlees Park behind Isleworth Library at 4.47pm, got into the woman's car with two of his friends and it is believed she was going to drive him to hospital.

But when they saw a police car in South Street they flagged down the officers instead.

The driver of the car then left without speaking to the police.

Detective Sergeant Sarah Swift, from Hounslow CID said: "Following the stabbing the victim and his friends were assisted by a female.

"The woman who was driving a silver Renault Clio stopped in Twickenham Road to assist the group.

"We would very much like this woman to contact Hounslow CID as she may have vital evidence to assist the investigation."

The victim remains in hospital in a stable condition.

A 14-year-old male was arrested nearby in relation to the attack and remains in custody
