POLICE want to trace a woman who stopped to help a teenager who had been sexually assaulted in the street.
The 16-year-old girl was talking to a friend when a black man, about 5ft 8in tall, touched her breast. He also pulled her friend's hair when she tried to intervene.
The incident took place at Scott House in the Stonebridge Estate on February 27 at about 1am. A 17-year-old was arrested and questioned by police before being bailed.
Detective Constable Leighanne Harvey, from Brent Police, said: “This was a deeply traumatic ordeal for the victim. I would like to speak to the women that helped the victim or anyone that was in the area at the time and witnessed the offence.”
