AN APPEAL for witnesses to a stabbing in Wembley has been reiterated by police.

Officers are looking for anyone who may have seen or have information about the incident, which happened on November 18 at 7.33pm near Westbury Road.

A 20-year-old man was walking along the alleyway between Victor Avenue and Hillfield Avenue when he was approached by a group of around seven to 10 men.

One of the gang members punched the victim in the face and another man stabbed him in the abdomen. The victim managed to reach his home, and then the police and ambulance service were called.

He was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The suspects are described as black, white and Asian males.
