POLICE are appealing for information after a man was assaulted in a Fulham nightclub earlier this year.
A 24-year-old was taken to hospital following the incident in the basement nightclub of Mare Moto in Kings Road, at 1.30am on Sunday, August 21.
The man sustained stab-style wounds to his back, and although he was taken to hospital, he was later discharged.
Club owner Luigi Ferrara told the Chronicle at the time that after reviewing the club's CCTV, he was unsure whether a knife was involved or if the victim fell on the glass during the brawl.
He said: "The victim was having a conversation with another man, they seemed to be whispering to each other. Then a third person came over and also spoke to the victim, who seemed to be laughing at this point. Then suddenly he was head-butted. He tried to respond by grabbing the guy's neck and they both went down. At this point the camera lost them."
Police are trying to identify two men, who they would like to speak to in connection to the attack.
The first is described as an Asian man, between 5ft 4ins and 5ft 6ins tall, with short dark brown hair. He was unshaven and wearing a pale shirt, low slung jeans and white trainers.
The second is a white man, of stocky build and with light coloured hair.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact detective constable John Ireland at the violent crime unit on 0208 246 2482.
