MORE scenes have been filmed by Pimlico's budding movie stars in a remake of a 60-year-old classic.

Older residents and young people from the Churchill Gardens Estate have come together with a professional film crew to film their own version of the 1948 Ealing comedy Passport to Pimlico, entitled Passport 2 Pimlico.

Chelsea College of Arts' banqueting hall, in John Islip Street, Pimlico, was transformed into the office of a 1940s civil servant for the latest shoot.

The group was filming the scene from the original film where the government tried to quash Pimlico's new-found independence by enforcing various laws.

The remake started as part of a project led by environmental charity Groundwork, in a bid to break down barriers between younger and older people.

The film is set to be finished later this year.
