I could hardly believe my eyes when I saw that the council had marked the road at the junction of Staines Road with Harlington Road West and Faggs Road.
We now have to cross in front of traffic when turning right into Faggs Road or right into Harlington Road West from Staines Road.
When we crossed behind oncoming traffic we could see vehicles coming. Crossing in front, we can't. I have since found out from a very helpful man at Hounslow Council that this is a Transport for London decision.
I have since contacted Transport for London and hope it will reverse this bad and potentially dangerous decision.
In the meantime, this is an exceptionallybusy junction, especially at rush hour, and I would urge everyone to be patient and very careful.
I hope that Transport for London does alter this decision or there will be many more accidents and people will be killed.
