AFTER months of training and a strict dietary regime, one Hammersmith estate agent put his feet up on Sunday night and treated himself to a pizza and a pint.

Greyhound Road resident Henry Butt ran the London Marathon in just under four-and-a-half hours, raising almost £2,000 for disabled charity Whizz Kids, which provides disabled youngsters with wheelchairs and other mobility equipment.

For many years the 28-year-old has supported disability charities as his brother Frank, 22, has muscular dystrophy.

Mr Butt, who is a director of Kensington-based estate agents Cameron Pearson, said the enthusiastic supporters and fervent atmosphere helped him through the last few miles.

He said: “It was absolutely amazing, the day was beautiful and the support all the way round was superb. The last four or five miles were hell but the crowds at Embankment were absolutely brilliant. I had been teetotal throughout my training so it was nice to end the day with a pizza and a few beers.”
