An open-air circus show celebrating London's river heritage drew a big crowd to Bell Square in Hounslow.

The audience enjoyed dazzling acrobatic feats in Source, about a group of underground artists living in sewers and buried waterways embarking on a quest to find a pure source of water.

Cirque Bijou and Nutkhut worked with young people from the area to devise the show.

Before the performance, the cast paraded along the High Street with the 'Scientific Orienteering Universal River Charting Engine' - the bizarre contraption which gives the show its name.

Source was commissioned by the Circulate Consortium, a collective of six arts centres in London, including Watermans, in Brentford.
