Revellers of all ages got their thrills on funfair rides during a party on Isleworth's Worton estate on Saturday (August 16).

A bouncy castle and arts and crafts activities also kept people entertained during the annual fun day at the Worton Estate Community Centre, in Unwin Road.

An estimated 200 people attended the free event, organised by the Residents of Worton Estate (ROWE), where they enjoyed free food from the barbecue.

This year's fair marked the 30th anniversary of the community centre, which is managed by volunteers from ROWE.

"It was a great day and the two funfair rides were particularly popular, as usual. We had about 200 people over the course of the day," said ROWE treasurer John Williams.

The summer fun day is one of several annual events, also including a Halloween disco and an Easter egg hunt, organised by the residents' group using money from the lease of the community centre.
