Heathrow and Sky will be among a host of major employers seeking new recruits at a job fair tomorrow (Friday, April 4).

Aspire, at West Thames College's Isleworth campus, in London Road , is billed by organisers as west London's biggest careers event.

Companies including Marks & Spencer and Premier Inn will be carrying out on-the-spot interviews, meaning visitors could walk away with a job .

There will also be a chance to try your hand at skills ranging from barista coffee-making to building a bicycle on the day.

The fair is supported by Brentford & Isleworth MP Mary Macleod and also has backing from The Skills Show, the European Social Fund and the National Careers Service.

More than 1,600 people are expected to attend the event, at which Brompton Bicycles and pharmaceuticals giant GlaxoSmithKline will also be represented.

As well as meeting potential employers, visitors can get careers advice and help writing their CV from the National Careers Service.

The free careers fair takes place from 10am to 4pm.
