This is the man police want to speak to in connection with a "bizarre" incident at a supermarket in Notting Hill earlier this year.

A 91-year-old woman was grabbed around the waist and then repeatedly kissed on her face by the suspect while she was shopping.

It happened as the victim was leaving Waitrose in Notting Hill Gate on June 28 at around 6pm.

Officers said the unusual incident left the pensioner "frightened and bewildered" and has asked for help tracing and identifying the man, who was captured on CCTV.

He is described as being white, of medium build and approximately 40 to 50-years-old. He was wearing a chequered shirt and blue jeans.

Detective Constable Grant McPherson from Kensington and Chelsea CID said: “The suspect's bizarre behaviour left an elderly woman frightened and bewildered.

"I urge anyone who may recognise him to contact the police.”

Anyone with information is asked to contact DC McPherson on 0208 246 0186 or call Crimestoppers charity anonymously on 0800 555 111.
