AN AMBULANCE crew was called to Uxbridge Road on Wednesday (June 26) after reports of a collision involving a car and a pedestrian.

Following the call at 12.15pm, a response car and an ambulance crew were sent to the scene on the Uxbridge Road. A male thought to be in his 20s, was treated for a head injury and taken to St Mary’s hospital.

Passer by David Reeve witnessed the collision outside Gold’s gym.

Mr Reeve, who lives in Hanwell and was out shopping, said: "The vehicle was heading towards Southall. The window screen was shattered and there was a dent on the front of the bonnet.

"The road was totally blocked heading towards Ealing hospital. All the people from the gym must have seen."
