Cyclists returned triumphant from the 60 mile bike ride from picturesque Syon Park in Brentford to the heart of Oxford.

About 300 riders pedalled in aid of Prostate Cancer Research and donations poured in and so far a whopping £20,000 to date have been raised, with funds still coming in.

The bike ride culminated in a celebratory festival with live music from acoustic band Kidnap Alice, while cyclists stretched their legs and tucked into some food from the stalls, grabbed a beer from the tent, and listened to the performances, on Sunday July 6.

It was one of three long distance charity bike ride events, organised by Bike Events, which all took place on the same day and finished up at the Oxpens Meadow in Oxford including the 77-mile ride from Birmingham and 50 or 100 mile circular route into the Cotswolds.
