PARALYMPICS star Ade Adepitan's car containing one of his wheelchairs has been stolen from a street in Chiswick.

The wheelchair basketball player and TV presenter's white BMW X5, emblazoned with the Olympics livery, was taken from Merton Avenue in the early hours of Saturday (October 22).

Two men smashed a window of the car, which contained a specially adapted metallic blue Ivercare Topend wheelchair, before driving away at about 3.40am.

The vehicle also contained a Molten basketball with 'Ade' on it and a pair of purple and orange crutches.

Anyone with information is asked to call DI Jo Brunt, of Hounslow CID, on 020 8247 6545, or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
