Unemployed brothers have been charged after the Dorchester Hotel had thousands of pounds worth of jewellery stolen from it.
Reed Roberts, 23, and Skye Roberts, 19, both of Cubitt Street in King's Cross, have been charged with robbery and possession with intent to supply cannabis resin following the early morning smash and grab at the hotel in Park Lane on Thursday (July 10).
The pair appeared in custody at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Saturday (July 12) after being arrested on Thursday afternoon , 12 hours after the ram raid where six people on three mopeds smashed into the five-star hotel and grabbed expensive watches and jewellery from glass cabinets.
Detectives from the Met's Flying Squad managed to recover the majority of the stolen goods from a King's Cross address.
Three others - a 46-year-old woman and two 66-year-old man - arrested at an address in the King's Cross area on Thursday have been bailed to return to a north London police station in early September pending further enquiries.
