Police have closed a number of roads after a car crash in Harefield this morning (Wednesday, January 14).

The accident happened at around 8am in Church Hill.

According to people living in the village Church Hill, High Street and several surrounding roads in the small village have been closed by police while paramedics attend the scene.

Arantxa May Campbell said on Twitter she had seen an overturned car in the road.

Transport for London has tweeted that local bus routes are being diverted and many drivers have also taken to the social media site to warn others of gridlocked queues as a result of the accident.
