A woman in her 20s has been taken to hospital after her vehicle overturned by the Hogarth Roundabout, causing serious delays on the A4 back to Hammersmith flyover.

An ambulance crew are currently at the scene on the A316 just before the Hogarth flyover where a Mercedes which looks to be packed full of luggage has turned on to its side.

The car, which has green provisional plates on it, has flipped over in between the width restriction bollards.

Fellow drivers were not very complimentary about the unfortunate accident.

London Ambulance Service confirmed they were called at 3:47pm to reports of a road traffic collision where they sent one ambulance crew and a responder in a car.

Queues are being reported westbound towards Chiswick between Hogarth Roundabout and Warwick Road.

This section of road came under fire just two weeks ago after former Formula One pundit, Jake Humphrey tweeted a picture of a 'wing mirror graveyard' in between the width restriction bollards.

A spokesman for Transport for London (TfL) said: "We were called at 3.47pm to reports of a road traffic collision at Hogarth roundabout. We sent an ambulance crew and a single responder by car. We treated a woman reported to be in her 20s at the scene for minor injuries. She was taken to Chelsea and Westminster hospital by ambulance."
