Original Beach Boy David Marks joins The Beached Boys on guitar

MUSIC fans who turned up to see a tribute act got a little more than they bargained for.

They were stunned when one of the original members of The Beach Boys, David Marks, joined tribute act The Beached Boys on stage towards the end of their set.

The Beached Boys were playing at Tropic in Ruislip - a new music venue inside Ruislip Social Club, in Grosvenor Vale.

Tropic At Ruislip promoter, George McFall, said: "It is always great for the music fans when this happens, but it is not that uncommon to find top musicians turning up at smaller gigs.

"After all they are music fans first, when all is said and done."
