The strip club The Olde Northwood Public House could get stripped of something else this month: its licence.

After new legislation last year forced all sex establishments to be licensed, 19 objections and a petition from local residents was received by Hillingdon Council against the Pinner Road venue's application to provide striptease, pole and lap dancing services.

Hillingdon Police also weighed in with a request that there should be "no touching between dancer and client at any stage, other than exchange of money".

The licence application hearing takes place at Uxbridge Civic Centre on Thursday, March 15, at 2pm.
