A family responsible for several incidents of anti-social behaviour have been evicted from a five-bedroom property in Isleworth.

Following a lengthy court case and thanks to a number of witnesses who provided crucial evidence, the three adult children and the tenant were given their marching orders for February 5 .

A housing officer from Hounslow Homes and a witness officer in partnership with Hounslow council 's tasking team and the police secured an outright possession order for the nuisance caused by the family.

Residents reported the tenant's three sons who lived in the house were involved with drugs, had loud parties and intimidated local people with threatening behaviour.

Although an outright possession order was granted following court proceedings, the perpetrators put in a number of appeals and while awaiting the final court trial, witnesses were subjected to further intimidation, including repeated damage to their property and threats made against them.

However their actions did not deter them to give evidence in court.

The continued threats occurred despite the presence of a surveillance camera and a static police unit stationed outside the property.

Residents have thanked the officer’s for all their hard work in evicting the family and for their support throughout the proceedings.

David Allum, interim managing director at Hounslow Homes said: “We welcome the decision of the court which sends a clear message that such behaviour will not be tolerated. The result builds on the boroughs recent success in campaigns to crackdown on anti-social behaviour.

“Our residents deserve to feel safe and protected in their homes and on the estates they live. We wish to thank officers and in particular the witnesses for their bravery in attending court to provide crucial evidence.”

Bailiffs and Hounslow Homes staff went to the home on last Wednesday (5) and found it vacant. The property has been secured.
