There were many great successes, with girls securing their place at university to study astrophysics, physics, maths, engineering, economics, history, history of art, modern languages, medicine, dentistry and many more.

And who says girls don't do sciences? Notting Hill and Ealing students have clearly proved this theory wrong. This year, the year group of 62 girls has produced 5 aspiring medics and 2 dentists-to-be.

All the staff were bursting with pride at the successes of their students. All the year-round, hard work finally paid off this morning with elated sixth form leavers jumping for joy at the prospect of the next chapters of their lives.

Rebecca Irwin, Head of Sixth Form at NHEHS said: “I am so proud of the exceptional hard work that all of the girls have done, their own personal bests, that they have worked with determination and energy and with a wonderful spirit of enjoying learning and that today has become into fruition of that final place in going off into university.”

Ms Lucinda Hunt, Head at NHEHS said: “I am very pleased that all the Oxbridge girls and medics achieved their demanding offers in this very competitive year, and I’m thrilled for all the girls who will be setting off to study the course of their dreams, so many of them at Russell group universities. I am particularly proud of those girls who struggled at times in their school career, either academically or with difficult personal problems, but who worked so hard, listened to advice and made the most of everything we can offer them here, and are now all set for the next exciting phase in their lives.

“Our leavers have been such a warm, funny, enthusiastic and talented year group. We will miss them all hugely and wish them every success and happiness in the future.”
