TWO years ago you published a letter of mine drawing attention to the necessity for visitors to hospitals such as Northwick Park to use the hand cleansing dispensers to combat MRSA.
Since then we have the addition of swine flu and the norovirus to contend with.
I understand that something like 10,000 people die each year from these dreadful diseases and many more become seriously ill.
Despite the tremendous efforts of Northwick Park to publicise their dispensers, especially in the main entrance, I estimate only one in three stop to use them.
Each visitor who does stop is helping to persuade others that what they are doing is vital.
