After months of hard work, pupils at Northolt High School finally put the finishing touches to their mosaic which will now be displayed in the school's reception.

The ten final year students spent four months putting together the mosaic during an expressive arts course.

Based on their thoughts and representations of the school, the piece includes images of sport, drama and pictures of the multi-cultural pupils.

Headteacher Chris Modi said: "It represents the wide range of opportunities in the school and expresses the student's pride in themselves and their education.

"The students planned, designed, created and installed the mosaic which was unveiled in the school's Vincent Reception."

The students who took part in the project are: Ibrahim Abdulle, Sadgi Al-Souri, Sara Anwari, Sonia Birdi, Chris Collett, Denise Comber, Kirsty Foster, Demi Harris, Jemma Slater and Shane Walker.
