A NEW musculo-skeletal aches and pains physiotherapy centre has opened up in place of an old dog and cat grooming salon.
The NHS centre was opened on Wednesday at 145 Station Road, West Drayton, and aims to provide expert treatment to those registered with a GP in Hillingdon.
Musculo-skeletal therapists are experts in solving, preventing or improving problems of movement, mobility, fitness, strength and stiffness, and work with muscles, bones and joints.
Jill Dady, clinical specialist at MSK Physiotherapy said: "Our award winning MSK Physiotherapy team have worked very hard to implement changes to the physiotherapy service over the past year, with the result that waiting lists have dropped dramatically.
"The new premises at West Drayton Physiotherapy Centre offer a light, airy, well equipped and larger clinical area for the benefit of both patients and staff. It is the icing on the cake for our expanding service."
Access to the service is via GP referral only.
