FORMER pupils of a Fulham school will have the chance to reconnect and share memories with old classmates thanks to a new website.

Lady Margaret School, in Parsons Green, decided to build the new site for the Old Girls Association (known as LMX) after receiving an anonymous legacy from a past pupil.

The website, to be officially launched at the school’s annual garden party tomorrow (Saturday), will offer ‘old girls’ a chance to get nostalgic, find out what their former peers have been doing over the years and support existing pupils.

The response has already been enthusiastic, with 130 alumni aged from 18 to 80 signing up.

Elizabeth Henderson, chair of LMX, said: “It’s lovely to get everybody back in touch and give them the chance to help the school if they’d like to.

“There’s the opportunity for all sorts, such as mentoring or work experience. The website is a very exciting chance to see the rejuvenation of Lady Margaret’s old girls.”

The school has recently been given planning permission to build nine extra classrooms to increase capacity from 710 pupils to 800. The garden party takes place at the school tomorrow (Saturday) from 11am to 3.30pm.
