We are neutral on park shelter

I am writing to correct a false impression given in a letter from Peter O'Brien [Unfair to this ward councillor,Letters, February 25].

I was chairing the Ruislip

Residents' Association (RRA) meeting to which he refers. I made it very clear that the RRA had not been informed about this project [Shenley Park shelter].

In fact I only heard about it when I attended the AGM of the Ruislip Manor Chamber of Commerce on January 27, at the end of the consultative period.

I also made it clear that the RRA has not expressed a view on the project, as we have members on both sides of the argument.
