I THINK Ealing Council needs to do something quickly in the Greenford underpass.

It's a disgrace these people have no respect for the family of Ian Hewtion, known as 'Scoobie' to his friends. ('How could they be so cruel?, Greenford Gazette, June 12).

They murder the man, then set fire to his shrine. How dare they? Shame on those who did this. The family have suffered enough.

The council have a meeting on June 23, so let's hope they do something quick.

The family would like a plaque put up to remember Scoobie. The council should pay for it as if they

had made the underpass safe he would not be dead. RIP, Scoobie - they can't touch you now.
