How interesting that Gareth Thomas MP and Councillor Navin Shah are now deeply concerned about a new police station for Harrow.

Both these gentlemen had every opportunity over the past 10 years to raise this issue. Now that we have a Conservative council and a Conservative Mayor of London they "welcome a sustained campaign" to replace the present police station, no mention of where it should be,who is paying for it, and if the policing of the borough will improve by having a nice new station?

Finally, may I ask Councillor Navin Shah, why is Boris Johnson to be held responsible if the new police station is not built, and what has it to do with "crime in London" anyway? I await to be enlightened on the points I have raised.
