The Drayton Court Hotel on The Avenue in Ealing is currently undergoing a multi-million pound transformation, to add 27 wonderful new hotel rooms.

Adding to the spacious function room that was extended just last December, the new rooms at The Drayton Court Hotel will make it the perfect venue for that special occasion, be it a birthday party, wedding reception or just an indulgent weekend away. In the summer the garden will be full of guests enjoying the many barbecues and hog roasts the team put on.

Perfectly situated close to West Ealing station, The Drayton Court Hotel is an Ealing icon and is famous for once counting Ho-Chi-Min as an employee.

Among the luxurious new rooms that are being added will be five extra special suites, each featuring the highest-quality materials and finishes, including free-standing roll-top baths.

THE COMPETITION

The Drayton Court Hotel is offering five lucky Ealing Gazette readers the chance to name each of the five special suites.

Just come up with a name associated with the nearby Ealing Studios and if your name is one of the five chosen at random you will win a night’s stay, including bed and breakfast, in the suite bearing your chosen name.

The refurbishment work began in January and will be complete in June, when our lucky winners will be able to claim their prize of a night in one of the sumptuous new suites.

Ealing Studios is the oldest continuously working film studios in the world and is famous for The Ealing Comedies of the 1950s. Names like Alec Guiness, Alastair Sim and Peter Sellars conjure up images of the past and famous BBC productions like Colditz, The Singing Detective and Monty Python once graced the studios

The stages today are constantly in demand to shoot films like Dorian Gray, Nowhere Boy and both St Trinian films and the Studios has also accommodated high profile movies like Notting Hill, Star Wars – Episode 2, Bridget Jones 2 and Sean of the Dead.
