Tributes have flooded in for a murdered teenager who would have celebrated her 20th birthday on Saturday.

Family, friends and work colleagues have all told of their shock and loss at the death of Simmone Hedges, 19, - known as Minnie - of Brampton Close, Hillingdon.

The popular teenager died last Wednesday, five days after being run down by a car in The Larches, off Long Lane, Hillingdon.

Two men have been arrested and bailed to return in December.

Her aunt, Tricia Reid, 34, said: "I've got a lot of memories because she was always so lovely to be around.

"My two children loved being around her.

"I remember us all spending last Christmas together."

Ms Hedges had recently been promoted to supervisor of corporate entertainments at GlaxoSmithKline in Stockley Park.

Colleague Charlotte Houghton, 18, said: "She was just a lovely girl was always laughing and making a joke, just so down to earth you knew where you stood with her.

"You could go to her with your problems - she knew what to say."
