A Wembley man has been charged with murdering a young receptionist at a college in east London.

Rafi Ullah, 29, of Jesmond Avenue, Wembley, is accused of stabbing 23-year-old Sehrish Waqar Sheikh in the neck and chest, while she worked in a quiet office, last Monday.

She was found at 6pm and pronounced dead at the scene.

A second woman was also found suffering from stab injuries to her shoulder.

Ullah appeared at Stratford Magistrates' Court last week accused of murder and grievous bodily harm.

He was remanded in custody.
