A 10-screen cinema, hotel, four restaurants and hundreds of new homes are planned for a derelict site in South Ruislip.
The £100million scheme would transform the area around Victoria Road and provided a new focal point for the wider Ruislip community, as well as 600 jobs.
Development partners Arla Foods and Citygrove have spent the last 18 months drawing up a masterplan for the former Express Dairies site and today (Thursday) they are revealing their plans for the first time at an exhibition in the Days Hotel.
The Gazette can reveal that the plans include a new supermarket to rival the nearby Sainsbury's, a Cineworld cinema, a hotel and between 100 and 150 new homes.
A spokeswoman for Citygrove said the developer had decided on a reduced residential portion to the site than had been previously considered. Instead, the site will be retail focussed.
Local residents are invited to attend the exhibition between 3.30 and 7.30pm to get a first look at the exciting plans prior to a planning application being submitted later this year.
