A FRIGHTENED mugging victim says he plans to move away from the area after he was attacked on his way home.
The 35-year-old no longer feels safe walking the streets of West Ealing after the attack at about 11.30pm on Sunday.
The chef, who asked not to be named, was beaten to the ground and kicked while on the ground in Uxbridge Road near Dean Gardens.
The victim, who had been drinking with friends in a pub nearby, said: "I was tapped on the shoulder and when I turned around I was punched in the face. It was a real hay-maker blow.
"I went down and then the other one went through my pockets. Then they kicked me while I was on the floor. I thought: 'just take the money'. There was no need to kick me while I was lying there."
The victim suffered a black eye and bruising all over his body and had a mobile phone and £140 stolen.
He added: "I'm in a lot of pain.
"I think these guys were strolling around West Ealing looking for targets.
"I'm looking to get out of this area now."
The thugs are both male, black, in their 20s and one wore a black Puffa jacket.
They ran off down Uxbridge Road towards Dean Gardens.
