While I am not a Feltham resident, I come to Feltham several times a week for shopping and leisure.
May I say how dismayed I am at the unnecessary closure of the Feltham People's Centre.
I say unnecessary, as the charity shop (which
made money for the local elderly) was forced to close more than a year sooner than it needed to.
It was also somewhere (apart from to find a bargain) that people were also able to socialise, myself included.
I believe the shop was promised alternative premises, but this did not happen.
It just appears to have been left as an eyesore when it could be performing a service.
