A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after colliding with a car on Uxbridge Road.

The victim, a 28-year-old man, suffered chest and leg injuries in the crash near the junction with Galloway Road, Shepherd’s Bush at 7am this morning (Dec 09).

He was taken to St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington.

A spokeswoman for London Ambulance said: “We were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a motorcycle. We sent a single responder in a car and an ambulance crew to the scene.

“Our staff treated one patient, a 28-year-old man, for a chest injury and leg injury. He was taken to St Mary’s as a priority.”

A witness, who asked not to be named, said: “I was woken up by sounds of tyres screeching and looked out the window to see a motorbike lying flat on the road and a man lying on the pavement some 100 yards away.

“There were two other cars that had stopped and I could see two men helping. One was talking to the man who had been knocked off his bike and the other on the phone.”
