I WISH to register my objection to the new parking fees.
I am a Westminster resident and commuter. I find it absurd that, should I wish to park my motorcycle in the motorcycle parking bay across the road from my flat I would have to pay £150 per year.
Alternatively, of course, I could buy a residents' parking permit and put it in a resident's bay - thereby potentially preventing a car from parking for £80. Where is the sense in that? No-one now uses that bay.
I park across Kilburn Lane in Brent. My neighbours put their scooters in the front gardens of their houses. Thanks a lot for that. What a service. Three cheers.
