MAY I through your column as a motorist congratulate Harrow Council for painting double yellow lines (this is not a joke!) at T junctions, junctions and bends.
It makes entry and exit so easy and safe and going round sharp bends less hazardous. Well done Harrow council. Could double yellow lines be painted at the bollards opposite Tesco service station? This is owing to inconsiderate parking, buses, lorries and some small vans have to go the wrong way around the bollards in order to continue their journey.
The service station is in Alexandria Avenue, South Harrow.
