A MISSING teenager, who disappeared after being dropped off in Hounslow, has been found safe and well.
Police have announced today that 13-year-old Surrey girl Atlanta McCormack was found at Kenyngton Manor Recreation Ground, Sunbury-on-Thames, just before 10pm last night.
Atlanta, from Ashford, disappeared after being dropped off in Balfour Road, Hounslow at around 9pm on Saturday May 7.
An appeal for information was launched, with Surrey Police officers teaming up with Metropolitan Police colleagues to search areas of south west London, including Feltham, Bedfont and Hounslow, where she has friends and connections.
Police were in telephone contact with Atlanta, but she refused to tell them where she was, leaving officers concerned for her safety.
A statement was released today by Surrey Police, saying: "Surrey Police would like to thank the media and members of the public for their assistance with the search."
