Police say the missing 16-year-old, Coral Pollard, who was last seen in West Drayton last week, has turned up safe and well.

No further information has been released but the Metropolitan Police have thanked everyone who got in touch or who retweeted Twitter messages carrying Coral's image.

The use of social media is vital, in order to  not only let the public know a young and possibly vulnerable person is missing but also to let the person themselves know that their family is concerned and wants them to get in touch.

Police are today (Monday, October 27) appealing for help in tracing two other teenage girls, one from West London.

Meanwhile, there is still no news of the missing Hayes teenager Alisha Rhone.
