A MISSING 60-year-old man with dementia who was thought to be spotted in Isleworth has been found safe and well.

Police issued an appeal to Isleworth residents on Monday after Herbert Phillips, who lives in Willingham Way in Kingston, went missing at 4pm on Sunday.

Possible sightings of him were reported to police by residents in the Isleworth and Twickenham areas, and householders were asked to help police by looking out for him.

Residents were told he may may appear disorientated as he suffers from Dementia, and he was not wearing clothing to protect him from the cold weather and had no money.

He has now been identified as a patient at a hospital in Surrey, admitted after being found in a confused state.

He is safe and well.
